Single
A person sixteen (16) years or older.
Dual
Any two people, ordinarily entitled to Single membership, who are of the one family resident at the same address, or two people who are partners in the conduct of a kennel having the same prefix in their joint names registered with Dogs Victoria (or equivalent Canine governing body for interstate/overseas members)
Family
Not more than two people ordinarily entitled to Single membership, plus one or more persons ordinarily entitled to Junior membership, or being dependent full-time students 16-24 years old, who ordinarily reside in the same household.
Junior
A person under the age of sixteen (16) years. Junior members are not entitled to hold office and have no voting rights
New Members after 1st October are financial for the following year also.
Memberships are considered provisionally financial upon receipt and are formally ratified at the following meeting of the Committee.
Voting rights are available to Single, Dual and the adults of a Family membership, but not to Junior members or children.

- I will display good sportsmanship at all canine activities and extend every courtesy to interested members of the public.
- I will attempt to help novice exhibitors and breeders when requested.
- I will, through my breeding program, take every effort to control and eliminate any known inherited defect.
- I will always keep the Breed Standard clearly in mind when considering a breeding agreement and will only proceed if, in my opinion, the resultant litter will enhance the breed.
- I will explain to all prospective Siberian Husky buyers the disadvantages as well as the advantages of the breed.
- I will not sell any puppies to pet shops or dog dealers or their agents & I will include in all stud contracts, to be signed by the owner of the bitch, that no puppies resulting from the mating will be disposed of through these outlets.
- I will provide follow-up advice and assistance, where requested, to all persons purchasing a puppy from me.
- I will encourage all interested persons, particularly new Siberian Husky owners, to join the SHCV Inc.
